Auburn – Frances T. (Turnbo) Bracci, 88, of Auburn, died Wednesday January 2nd at home surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her husband Charles C. Bracci in 1969. She leaves her daughter Debra B. Pope and her husband Charles of Auburn and Guilford, CT; her son Charles T. Bracci and his wife Helen of Severn, MD and her grandson Anthony D. Bracci and his wife Christina of Halethorpe, MD. She graduated from Gore Springs High School in Gore Springs, MS and the Jackson Business College in Jackson, MS. Frances was the bowling instructor at Thunderbird Bowl in Auburn for many years, with many state championships in her name. She was an accomplished gardener with friends looking forward to her fresh vegetables and corn each summer. Friends and strangers alike would stop and ask to take pictures of her beautiful flowers each spring and summer. Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 5-8 pm on Monday, January 7, 2013 in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home 91 Central St., Auburn, MA.
