Shrewsbury-Nellie Marie (Pacek), Orne, 93 years young, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2013. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Teresa and Joseph Pacek. She was married to her best friend Henry for over 72 years. Together they had one child Sandra M. Leroux of Shrewsbury. She adored her grandchildren Dennis, David, Joseph and special granddaughter Cilissa. She also leaves 8 great grandchildren with whom she loved to visit. She had two sisters Annie & Josie and one brother Benjamin who predeceased her. She had one sister-in-law Gloria Walsh who she spent many hours with on the phone. She spent most of adult life on the boat “Nellie-O” enjoying many long weekends fishing, lobstering and swimming with Hank. They also enjoyed over 40+ years in North Fort Myers, Florida in the winter months. She loved the outdoors and was still raking leaves and riding her three-wheeler at 92 years of age. She loved to “cook from scratch” and gave many a meal away to friends and neighbors. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM TUESDAY, April 2nd at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1290 Grafton Street, Worcester, with burial to follow at Mountain View Cemetery, Shrewsbury.
