Auburn-James J. Magerowski, 89, of Auburn, died Monday in St. Vincent’s Hospital after an illness. He is survived by his wife Dorothy (Frail) Magerowski of Auburn. Three daughters; Janice Donigian and her husband Jake of Fremont, NH, Joyce Richards of Grafton, and Jean Incutto of E. Dennis, two step-sons; David Brown of Millbury, and Albert “Bill” Brown and his wife Nancy of Oxford, and a sister Genevieve Magerowski of Worcester, 12 grandchildren, and 8 Great Grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. James was born in the Jefferson section of Holden. He was the son of the late Andrew and Catherine (Jastrzemski) Magerowski. He was educated in Worcester schools. Mr. Magerowski was a member of Local 170. He drove a truck for Carling Black Label and later Harlem Merchandising. He was an avid outdoorsman; he loved to fish, work in his garden and spend time with his family. Funeral and burial plans will be held privately.
