AUBURN-Anna Bucinskas, 95 died Sunday August 11, in the Life Care Center of Auburn.
Her husband Vincent Bucinskas died in 1999.
She leaves her 3 daughters, Barbara Bechan and her husband Richard of Oakham, Ruth Dowgielewicz and her husband Francis of Leicester, Christine Parmentier and her husband Christopher of Leicester; 7 grandchildren, Ann, Betsy, Cathleen, Joe, Diane, Sarah, and Nick; 3 great grandchildren, Maggie, Will and Gianna; 2 nieces, Donna and Diane. She was predeceased by her mother Anna in 1976 and by her sister Connie in 2009.
Mom worked at the George C. Whitney Company until she started raising her 3 daughters. For many years, Mom and Dad exhibited their beautiful roses, annuals, and perennials at the Worcester County Horticultural Society on Elm St. in Worcester. They won several awards, and once won a grand state award. She enjoyed ballroom dancing with her husband throughout Worcester County. She was a longtime member of St. Joseph’s Church, joining in 1949.
Mom was an amazing woman! She was a fabulous cook and super baker, winning several prizes. Our mother leaves us with a legacy of love, faith appreciation of life, gift of family and her wonderful sense of humor.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in Friday August 16 from 9:30 – 10:30 AM in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central Street, Auburn, followed by a funeral Mass celebrated at 11AM in St. Joseph’s Church, 189 Oxford Street North. Burial will be in the family lot in Notre-Dame Cemetery.
